26.6.2018 - UK: Victory at Whilton Mill!

JDR win in Mini X30 & more progress made throughout all classes at Whilton!

A warm weekend saw the JDR team perform well across the weekend. In Honda Cadet, Morgan Hill built on his confidence to finish an impressive P8 in a tough 50 kart grid. He will be looking to improve on this result next month, with his speed capable of being in the top 5. Leo Brown had a fantastic first race off his novice plates, finishing half way up the field in the heats, qualifying him straight through to the final. Unfortunately, he was taken off causing a retirement, but a promising weekend nonetheless.

Jude Fernihough worked hard all weekend and took fastest laps in the heats and eventually took the victory in the final after the leaders crashed and suffered penalties. A great confidence boost to take forwards for his next race. Jack Cox had very impressive pace on Saturday but suffered on Sunday with track limit penalties, though his recent performances show that he has fantastic potential and he will be working hard to get the results to reflect his efforts.

Junior X30 driver Charlie Richardson had his first ever race at Whilton and his pace improved each session. He took the top novice trophy and is showing massive improvements each outing. Rich Ward also took the novice trophy in Senior X30, miles ahead of the other novices and racing well with the mid-pack. The team will head to PFI this weekend in preparation for Kartmasters.

The MS Kart has been at the front in all classes this year, so why not try it?
